Clutch Stop Installation Guide (DIY)
1. Clutchstopper clutch stop
2. A BMW with manual transmission (NO AUTO OR SMG)
Approximate time needed for installation: 2 minutes
Step 1: Locate your OEM clutch stop. Its on the floor behind the clutch pedal.
Step 2: Unscrew the OEM clutch stop (counter-clock wise) and you will be left with a hole in the floor.
Step 3: Take your Clutchstopper Clutch Stop and screw it in (clock-wise). You can use the washer and nut to adjust the height of the clutch stop. The more you screw it in, the less dead space is taken away. The less you screw it in, the more dead space is eliminated. Drive the car around and adjust the height if needed.
Step 4: You are DONE! See the difference between a Clutchstopper clutch stop and a stock one? Have fun!
